Job Title: Electrical Engineer.
LOCATION: Everglades, Florida, United States.
QUALIFICATIONS: 1.
Education: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field from an accredited institution.
2.
Experience: A minimum of four or more years of related experience in electrical engineering or a closely related field.
3.
Physical Capability: Must be physically capable of walking over rough terrain and standing for long periods of time, as site visits and fieldwork may be required.
4.
Knowledge: Strong knowledge of electrical engineering principles, electrical systems, and power distribution.
Familiarity with electrical codes and standards.
5.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in electrical design software, such as AutoCAD, ETAP, or similar applications.
Experience with power system analysis software is preferred.
6.
Field Experience: Practical experience in electrical system installations, troubleshooting, and testing.
Knowledge of electrical safety practices and regulations.
7.
Problem-Solving: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills to diagnose electrical issues, develop solutions, and make informed decisions.
8.
Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate technical concepts to diverse stakeholders.
Ability to prepare technical reports and documentation.

Project Management: Experience in managing electrical engineering projects, including project planning, budgeting, and resource management.

Teamwork: Ability to work collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams, coordinating with engineers, architects, contractors, and other stakeholders.

RESPONSIBILITIES: 1.
Project Management: Lead and manage electrical engineering projects, including planning, design, and execution of electrical systems and installations.
2.
Electrical Design: Design electrical systems, including power distribution, lighting, communication, and control systems, according to project requirements and applicable codes and standards.
3.
Electrical Drawings and Specifications: Prepare electrical drawings, schematics, specifications, and technical documentation.
Review and approve drawings and specifications prepared by other team members or external contractors.
4.
Power Systems Analysis: Conduct power system studies, including load flow analysis, short-circuit analysis, and protective device coordination.
Evaluate system performance, identify areas for improvement, and propose solutions.
5.
Equipment Selection and Specification: Select electrical equipment, components, and materials based on project requirements, performance criteria, and industry standards.
Prepare equipment specifications and coordinate with suppliers.
6.
Electrical Safety: Ensure compliance with electrical safety standards and regulations.
Perform risk assessments and develop safety measures for electrical installations and operations.
7.
Troubleshooting and Problem-Solving: Diagnose and resolve electrical system malfunctions, equipment failures, and other technical issues.
Develop and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime and maximize system reliability.
8.
Testing and Commissioning: Plan and conduct electrical testing, including equipment testing, functional testing, and commissioning activities.
Ensure proper operation and integration of electrical systems.
9.
Energy Efficiency: Identify opportunities for energy efficiency improvements in electrical systems.
Recommend and implement energy-saving measures, such as lighting upgrades, power factor correction, and renewable energy integration.
10.
Codes and Standards Compliance: Stay updated with electrical codes, regulations, and industry standards.
Ensure designs and installations comply with applicable requirements.
11.
Technical Guidance: Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams, junior engineers, and technicians on electrical engineering principles, practices, and standards.
12.
Collaboration: Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including architects, mechanical engineers, contractors, and clients, to ensure effective coordination and integration of electrical systems.
