```Duties```
- Perform diagnostic imaging procedures, including X-rays, CT scans, PET scans, and sonography.
- Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring proper functioning and safety.
- Prepare patients for procedures, explaining the process and positioning them correctly.
- Follow protocols and guidelines to obtain high-quality images for accurate diagnosis.
- Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to interpret and analyze images.
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.
```Qualifications```
- Associate's degree or certification in Radiologic Technology or a related field.
- Valid state license or certification as an X-ray Technician.
- Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and diagnostic evaluation.
- Strong knowledge of medical imaging techniques, including X-ray, CT, PET scan, and sonography.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow protocols for accurate image capture.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritize tasks, and adapt to changing situations.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.
Note: Experience in an emergency room (ER) setting is preferred but not required.
