Director of Degree Certification and Curriculum Management

What We're Looking For The Director of Degree Certification and Curriculum Management supports the mission of Baylor University by providing services to the College of Arts and Sciences Dean and Administrative area.
A Bachelor's Degree, five years of relevant experience and an active Christian faith are required.
A Masters Degree and seven years of relevant experience are preferred.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do Oversee, develop and implement the strategic communication plan of informing all graduating seniors of their missing requirements after final registration.
Meet with students and respond to inquiries about graduation issues.
Manage lists of students who have above 90 hours to determine graduation eligibility.
Oversee graduation applications including diploma name adjustments that are submitted using Banner and Bearweb (over 1400 a year) and all other daily operations.
Process degree audit petitions for A & S and transfer equivalencies as determined by associate deans.
Monitor/ Prorate CAE requirement for internal & external transfers.
Manage core curriculum holistic course review of transfers with 45+ hours.
Certify graduates 3 times a year including collection of missing grades, notifying unqualified candidates and verifying final list of graduates.
Prepare final diploma lists including proofreading, editing and sending final changes to the Registrar's office by deadline.
Responsible for maintaining internal policies.
Supervise 1-2 student workers.
Serve as ex-officio member of A&S CC and CCAC, prepare agenda, and take minutes.
As well as generating necessary reports for the executive leadership of the College.
Oversee curriculum process for A&S by tracking proposals from start to finish.
Responsible for review, updates and edits to the A&S undergraduate catalog by deadline.
Prepare and review all changes to degree audits.
Proofread and test modified degree audits.
