What We’re Looking For
The Engagement Coordinator role will support the mission of the University by managing a subset of the Baylor University Engagement Center (Call Center) focused on discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of high affinity and/or capacity constituents.
It is responsible for assisting in the implementation of programs, as well as overseeing the recruitment, retention, and management of student employees.
This position will also take part in the program itself, moving Baylor Family through the pipeline mentioned above through creating personal relationships and providing an array of engagement opportunities, including fundraising.
A Bachelor’s degree, up to one year of related experience and an active Christian Faith are required.
Three years of experience is preferred.
This will be a part-time (approx.
20 hours per week), temporary position with an anticipated end date of 8/23/24.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Specific duties include, but are not limited to:
Serve as the primary point of contact and the day-to-day management of the program.
Coordinate with Student Financial Aid for student-worker personnel matters; processing all paperwork, approving student payroll/time sheets, terminations, and pay increases.
Develop and maintain relevant policies and procedures to ensure best practices.
Develop employee engagement to increase retention.
This will be done in developing strategic actions to meet program goals.
Assist in the planning of the marketing/solicitation plan for this subset of the Baylor University Engagement Center and ensure that it is being implemented and carried out.
Provide weekly follow up and collaborate with management to develop opportunities that will improve program success.
Connect with the Baylor Family via video, email, call, and text to move individuals through discovery, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship.
Act as a point of contact, discuss fundraising support for initiatives, inform about engagement opportunities, thanking individuals for support, and other communications as needed.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with University policies
