What We're Looking For
The Front Desk Manager and Assistant to position will support the Office of the Provost and the mission of the University by greeting the public as they enter the Provost’s office, answering the telephone and directing calls as required, accepting and distributing mail, providing staff support for the Chief of Staff and Vice Provost, overseeing and hiring the student workers, as well as other tasks as assigned.
A high school diploma, 3 years of experience and an active Christian faith are required.
A bachelor's degree and 5 years of experience are preferred.
Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.
What You Will Do
Serve as first contact for students, faculty, administrators, and calls to office on matters related to the university and greets all guests to the Provost’s Office
Assist the Chief of Staff to the Provost with correspondence and with maintaining calendar and appointments as assigned
Assist the Vice Provost for Administration and Operations with correspondence and maintaining calendar and appointments as assigned
Hiring and supervision of student workers supporting the Office of the Provost
Ensure processes and procedures are in place for smooth day to day operations of the main office
Maintain conference rooms and calendar for Pat Neff 105, 300, 330, 330.

Responsible for purchasing and maintaining office supplies
Coordinate and direct administrative support functions for the Provost’s office
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
