Accounts Payable Clerk
*POSITION LOCATION*
Waco, TX, USA In-office, no remote work option.
*JOB DESCRIPTION*
Gray Reed & McGraw LLP currently has an immediate opening for an Accounts Payable Clerk.
The A/P Clerk will be a member of the accounting staff and will report directly to the Accounting Manager with a dotted line to the Waco Operations Manager.
This position will work closely with the Houston, Dallas and Waco attorneys and legal assistants to help manage payables for all offices.
*REQUIRED EXPERIENCE*
· Accounts Payable experience not required; prior office experience preferred.
· Proficiency in Excel, Word and Outlook.
*EDUCATION*
· High school diploma or equivalent
*SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE*
· Knowledge of accounts payable procedures desired.
· Must be functional in Excel spreadsheets, data entry and 10 key by touch.
· Professional, diplomatic and strong interpersonal skills.
· Exceptional customer service skills.
· Attentive to detail.
· Great organizational skills.
· Must have the personality and ability to interact with numerous individuals via email, telephone and in person.
· Exercise judgment in making decisions where alternatives are determined by policies, procedures and practices.
· Must be able to adhere to Firm’s guidelines.
*DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES *
· Process payments.
· Research and analyze vendor inquiries and send reports when needed.
· Handle all special requests for information or assistance regarding accounts payable.
· Enter and code all expense reimbursements into Accounting Software Aderant.
· Enter client disbursements into Aderant.
· Assist with special projects.
· Other duties as assigned by Management.

This position reports to the Accounting Manager with a dotted line to the Waco Operations Manager.
No direct reports.

Competitive wages commensurate with experience.
Salary Range is: $40,000 - $45,000
