Certified Medication Aide

_*Certified Medication Aide*_ *Department: *_Medical_ *Reports to:* *Facility/Company:* *Effective Date: *_2/22/2022_ _*Job Summary:*_ The position of the certified medication aide ensures that all inmate/detainees have the proper dosage and distribution of medication.
_*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:*_ * Maintains stock of drugs, ensures that storage of drugs follows prescribed conditions of temperature and humidity, and verifies that all drugs are labeled properly.
* Prepares daily medications pack for offenders * Distributes medication and instructs offender in proper application/consumption of medication * Records each distribution of medication in offender’s medical file * Performs other related duties as required _*Required Knowledge Skills/Abilities: *_ * Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
* Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
* Ability to function well in a high-paced and at times stressful environment.
* Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
