AS a licensed Class A CDL Driver you are responsible for operating and maintaining a delivery truck and/or trailer delivering precast products.
Essential Functions:
Safely load and transport material to/from Vendors/Customers
Load/Unload of trucks after material and receiver are inspected
Prep and package material for shipment as needed
Complete operator safety checklist on truck prior to use
Comply with all maintenance and preventative maintenance requirements
Complete daily log/mileage books accurately and legibly
Excellent customer service and on time deliveries
Promote a culture of proactive safety
Maintain shipping board
Assist with placing checked in material in the bin location and note on packing slip
Assist with supplying materials to fabrication and stages material for assembly and manufacturing as needed
Provide accurate, detailed, and timely paperwork and reports to management
Proactively maintain your own housekeeping and keep Company vehicle clean
Assist in maintaining a clean environment in the warehouse and yard
Perform other duties as required.
Minimum Qualifications:
Skills, Experience and Education:
Class A CDL
2 years OTR experience a plus
Must be able to pass a driver's background check.
Ability to exert up to 50 pounds of force occasionally, up to 40 pounds of force frequently, and up to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects.
Ability to prioritize and use time efficiently
