The base hourly rate for this position is $31.
03 Responsibilities: Summary of Position: This is an entry level multi-craft maintenance technician position located in a manufacturing environment.
Must have basic understanding, knowledge and skills in most of these areas; electrical, machinery maintenance, welding / fabrication and knowledge of preventive/ predictive maintenance Key Responsibilities: Electrical: Perform basic electrical troubleshooting, read’s electrical diagrams and symbols.
Able to understand AC/DC voltage and Ohms ranges on a multimeter.
The basic understanding of 12v thru 120v systems.
Mechanical: Work with preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance system to keep operating equipment in good condition.
Lubricates, cleans and repairs parts as needed.
Have the ability to operate a drill press, vertical band saw, horizontal cut-off saw and pedestal grinders.
Fabrication: Fabrication of guards, key ways, shafts, motor brackets, etc.
pipe threading, copper pipe sweating and brazing Heating/Cooling: Basic air conditioning and heating circuits Mobile Equipment: Complete basic mobile equipment repairs (starter, seat, lights, hydraulic line, etc.
) Carpentry: Uses of saws, nailers, sanders, routers to build /repair fixtures Projects: Work inside of the group and be able to contribute in a positive and constructive manner.
Take direction from others and execute tasks on time and on budget.
Leadership: Work inside of the safety program with performance of Job Safety Analysis (JSA) and safety huddles.
Physical Requirements: Must be able to sit or stand for long periods of time on concrete floor Must be able to walk, stoop, kneel and climb ladders and staircases.
Must be able to lift up to 50- 100lbs.
Must be able operate mobile equipment and drive company vehicles Must be able to work in confined spaces Must be able to crawl, kneel, and bend awkwardly to access difficult machine parts Must be able to work at elevated heights (on ladders, boom lifts, roof tops etc.
) Must be able to work overtime as needed and have a flexible work schedule.
