We are seeking a Dentist to work in the Hill County Area.
Correctional dentistry is a unique, challenging, and exciting opportunity for dentists because it allows you to provide patient care without the interference and barriers associated within a private practice.
This is the perfect opportunity to provide dentistry in a public health setting, while improving health outcomes.
Responsibilities:
Perform dental services within designated hours of operations.
Utilize universal precautions for patient dental care.
Exam, diagnose and treat patients consistent with professional standards and defined scope of service.
Document patients’ needs for every dental encounter utilizing the SOAP format, update the patient health history, and obtain patient consent prior to delivering of care.
Keep patient information confidential and respect patients' rights to privacy, in accordance with accepted confidentiality practices for incarcerated individuals.
Requirements:
Graduate from an accredited school of Dentistry Medicine (DDS/DMD)
Experienced clinician preferred
Recent graduates encouraged to apply
One (1) year of experience in oral surgery preferred
Active and unrestricted State Dental License
Excellent organizational skills
Strong written and oral communication skills
Great interpersonal skills
