LICENSING OPERATIONS LEAD, GLOBAL LICENSING & ACTIVATION
The Starlink Global Licensing & Activation team is hiring a Licensing Operations Lead to support our team's efforts to expand Starlink across the globe.
As a successful Licensing Lead, you have the opportunity to manage a portfolio of countries to enable Starlink to become licensed as an internet service provider, and bring the country online, so it can serve people and enterprises around world.
The team has ambitious goals and is looking for a detail-oriented execution partner to help enable success.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Research and communicate comprehensive and accurate understanding of market licensing requirements and timelines
Assist and support coordination of the market activation process of each country post-licensing
Support team members to obtain authorization to operate by applying for and obtaining necessary licenses and approvals, including the preparation of applications/information submittals and coordination of necessary internal inputs and reviews
Support and educate internal stakeholders on market licensing timeframes, working collaboratively to achieve company objectives
Own and implement specific licensing process improvement projects that enable market growth and eliminate burden on other SpaceX departments
Support licensing managers and directors in their efforts
You will initially support across multiple regions while building expertise with growth to become a licensing manager
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelor's degree
Experience working with cross-functional teams and external customers
PREFERRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
Independently motivated professional with a demonstrated track record of project ownership
Knowledge of Starlink's network infrastructure
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Highly detail oriented, diligent, and hard working with excellent customer interface skills
ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
Must be willing to travel (~20%)
Available to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed to support time-sensitive licensing requirements
COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:
Pay Range:
Level I: $75,000.
00 - $95,000.
00/per year
Level II: $90,000.
00 - $125,000.
00/per year
Your actual level and base salary will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the following considerations: job-related knowledge and skills, education, and experience.
Base salary is just one part of your total rewards package at SpaceX.
