Job Description:
We are actively seeking a Contractual Part-Time, Fully-Remote, Fully Licensed in Texas Psychologist (Phd, PsyD) to join our team at Neurodiversity & Disability Affirming Therapy.
As a remote therapist/psychologist, you will contribute to our team by providing evidence-based therapy and counseling services to neurodiverse adults and those with chronic illnesses & disabilities.
Our Mission and Approach: At Neurodiversity & Disability Affirming Therapy, we are committed to assisting neurodiverse adults and those with chronic illnesses & disabilities across Texas as they navigate the challenges of the assessment, diagnosis, and adjustment process; heal from misunderstanding; and plan for the future.
Our approach is grounded in science using methods such as behavioral activation, cognitive behavioral therapy, and acceptance and commitment therapy, specializing in supporting neurodiverse adults and those with chronic illnesses & disabilities.

Qualifications: * Current and valid licensure as a Psychologist in the state of Texas (license has no supervision requirements).
* Proven experience in delivering therapy and counseling services, aligning with our mission to support adults with neurodivergent conditions (e.
g.
, ADHD, ASD, OCD, chronic PTSD, GAD, psychosis, bipolar disorders) and those with chronic illnesses & disabilities (e.
g.
, MS, chronic pain, Long COVID, chronic fatigue syndrome, chronic migraines).
* Strong understanding of ethical guidelines and legal requirements for telehealth services, with a commitment to cultural competence.
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, demonstrating sensitivity to diverse perspectives.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a virtual team setting.
* Comfortable using telehealth platforms and technology for remote sessions.
* Flexibility to accommodate varied client schedules, including evenings and weekends.
* Must obtain or be eligible to obtain a National Provider Identifier (NPI) and a Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) profile.
* Clear background check from the appropriate entity.
Responsibilities: * Conduct secure and HIPAA-compliant virtual therapy sessions.
* Utilize evidence-based therapeutic interventions tailored to the unique needs and experiences of neurodiverse adults and those with chronic illnesses & disabilities.
* Maintain accurate, confidential, and up-to-date client records including progress notes and treatment plans, ensuring sensitivity to the specific challenges our clients face.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive and affirming care for our diverse client base.
* Adhere to ethical and professional standards in line with state licensure requirements, emphasizing cultural competence and our mission to empower clients.
* Engage in regular consultation and professional development activities, staying informed about the latest evidence-based practices in neurodiversity and disability-affirming therapy.
* Create a supportive and empathetic therapeutic environment that aligns with our mission.
* Adhere to all confidentiality laws, policies, and regulations at all times.
* Manage your schedule via an online calendar, ensuring that it is up-to-date and accurate, to facilitate efficient appointment scheduling and coordination.
