Job description - IT Director
Summary
The IT Director manages the company’s technical operations, systems, and equipment, empowering company personnel for productivity by providing tools and support while ensuring information security and compliance.
The IT Director reports to the CFO and collaborates with departmental leaders to design and implement initiatives aimed at streamlining business operations and maximizing return on technology investments.

Responsibilities
Operations
Develop a scalable IT strategy and tech stack that aligns with the company’s growth trajectory
Configure and update endpoint devices; deploy programs and patches to manage vulnerabilities
Ensure appropriate and timely provisioning/deprovisioning of user identities and accounts in coordination with HR and departments
Coordinate IT budgeting and hardware procurement and deployment; maintain current inventory of technology assets and manage scheduled replacement cycle
Oversee and provide technical support to employees; troubleshoot and investigate issues to identify solutions.
Facilitate training and education for employees to enhance information security, operational efficiency, and utilization of systems and equipment
Manage local network(s) and equipment
Cybersecurity & Compliance
Maintain technology and security policies in collaboration with CFO, CTO, and key stakeholders
Design, implement, and monitor controls to ensure compliance with relevant security requirements including SOC-2 and HIPAA
Collaborate with leadership to evaluate and mitigate security risks and ensure business continuity; maintain incident response plan to ensure preparedness for and effective handling of security breaches
Document compliance and participate in periodic compliance and security reviews
Software and Vendor Management
Collaborate with departmental leaders to assess software tools and related cybersecurity risks; manage relationships & agreements with IT vendors
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to enhance connectivity between systems while protecting data integrity
Assist leadership in strategic technology resource planning
Qualifications and Skills
7+ years experience managing information technology and security
Current knowledge of best security practices and IT industry developments
Excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work well as part of cross-functional team
Ability to lead and train others and explain technical concepts in simple terms
Job Type, Schedule & Location
Full-time (40+ hours per week) Monday-Friday in person in the Waco office
