Job Description
The Agent Commissions Analyst contributes to the successful functioning of the Agent Commissions department by handling all commissions for the agents.
You will support our agent partners via phone, chat and email.
Your Day to Day Processes daily advances to agents through the automated advancing system in accordance with the agent contract.
Answers phones, chats, emails to assist agents, department Supervisor and Managers as well as Marketing VP’s with requested information.
Calculates commissions and adjusts policies accordingly.
Maintains bank information records for agents’ accounts.
Handles recovery of lead costs from agents.
Engages with agents, IMO’s, and internal departments to contribute to the success of the Company and department.
Works items from the department mail management system.
Counsels agents regarding account information on 1099’s.
Calculates commissions on old and new policies for replacements.
Adjusts new policy accordingly.
1st level escalation support for peers and agents Prepares entries necessary to void and issue credit balance checks for commissions.
Coordinates the mailing and special handling (tax levies, etc.
) of agents’ statements and checks.
Balances “Agent Unknown” and “Commission Default” accounts for all companies Who You Are High School diploma or general education degree (GED).
Two years of administrative and or customer service experience preferred.
Previous insurance, accounting/finance, or customer service industry experience preferred.
