Position: Ink Technician
Location: Waco, Texas
Wage: $23.

Shift: rotating shifts; 7am - 3pm, 3pm - 11pm, 11pm - 7am; rotate every four weeks
Reporting directly to the Production Manager as an Ink Technician, you will be responsible for duties assigned by the shift lead and managers.
What you’ll be doing:
Dispense and blend printing inks
Organizes inks for press runs
Preform press-side color-matching
Utilize color computer software to assist in daily work.
Returns inks from press to appropriate area
Assists in reducing “work-off” inventory.
Maintains inventory control standards
Maintain a neat, clean, and safe work area.

Must have ability to effectively and accurately distinguish color.
Basic color blind test will be administered previous to job offer.
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure , using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals
Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent.
Basic math and logic test will be administer previous to job offer.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
Ability to write routine reports and correspondence.
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employee organizations.
Ability to understand job and how it effects the company is essential to success.
3-month training program will be administered with knowledge and skill certification required in first 6 months.
Annual recertification of knowledge and skills is required.
