Job Type: Full Time Job Category: Nursing Job Description Job Title: Perm RN Med Surg Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical-surgical unit on a permanent basis.
The RN will provide compassionate and high-quality patient care, administer medications, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure optimal outcomes for our patients.
Responsibilities and Duties: 1.
Assess patient health needs and develop individualized care plans 2.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians 3.
Monitor and document patient progress and vital signs 4.
Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to coordinate patient care 5.
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions 6.
Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures 7.
Participate in quality improvement initiatives and patient safety protocols 8.
Provide emotional support and guidance to patients and their families Qualifications and Skills: 1.
Valid RN license in the state of practice 2.
Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in medical-surgical nursing 3.
BLS certification 4.
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills 5.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities 6.
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment 7.
