Hawaiian Falls Waterpark is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee all activities related to repair and replacement of equipment & facilities that support the waterpark’s operations.
As the Maintenance Manager, you are responsible for keeping the water park running to ensure a safe and fun environment for all guests and employees.
The maintenance manager is full-time/salary postion at a seasonal waterpark.
What you get to do:
• Ensure a safe and clean property for both guests and team members
• Properly maintain and balance pool chemicals
• Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal health and safety guidelines
• Perform routine maintenance on equipment and determine when and what kind of maintenance is needed.
• Install equipment, machines, wiring to meet specifications.
• Analyze needs and product requirements.
• Conducting tests and inspections of waterslides and structures
• Repair using the needed tools.
• Determining causes of operating errors and deciding what to do about it.
• Record type and cost of maintenance or repair work.
• Paint or repair roofs, windows, doors, floors, woodwork, plaster, drywall, or other parts of building structures.
• Provide leadership to seasonal team of maintenance and park services team members
• Other duties as assigned by the Park Director or Managing Director
What it takes to succeed:
• Supervisory Skills
• 5+ year’s maintenance and leadership experience preferred.
• Waterpark industry experience preferred.
• Action oriented
• Customer/ Quality focused
• Decision Quality
• Must be willing to become a Certified Pool Operator (CPO)
