What We’re Looking For
Baylor University’s Enrollment Marketing team is seeking a full-time Temporary Communication Specialist.
This role will assist the Student Financial Aid Office to develop, process, and execute its communication strategy.
We are seeking an individual who is a self-starter, a critical thinker and is detail oriented.
The candidate should be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
Additionally, the successful candidate will demonstrate the following:
Understanding of the needs of a diverse student population within a Christian higher education setting and an openness to cultural humility.
Be successful communicating and interacting with all campus populations including students, faculty, and staff.
A Bachelor's degree, one year of relevant work experience, and an active Christian faith are required.
Additional experience or education will be considered in lieu of one another.
Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis.
What You Will Do
Process daily financial aid communications and verify data accuracy.
Assist with special communication projects.
Create and edit content for financial aid communication channels.
Collaborate with other Enrollment Management teams or on-campus partners to develop and send communications.
Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor’s mission
Ability to comply with University policies
Maintain regular and punctual attendance
